UNCENSORED FESTIVAL began life in 2019 in the core of East London as an urgent response to the tightening grasp on censorship; we were specifically exploring ethical pornography at the intersection of art and activism with a strong emphasis on creating a space for freedom of expression and collective creative counteractions.

✖️ 2026 ✖️ – We are back with an exciting programme of film screenings and a whole bunch of juicy surprises! YAY!
UNCENSORED will happen in the flash in London, in early summer 2026. The venue will be announced close to the festival’s date.
The festival programme will focus on a curatorial selection from the 2026 international open call for short films, features, documentaries and video art, welcoming new perspectives and narratives around sexuality and intimacy, through a playful, critical and fluid cinematic gaze.

✖️ Awards will be assigned by the festival’s jury composed of international film practitioners, performers and fllm directors. Also, expect Q&A, special events and a final awards’ ceremony led by an international jury’s panel.
✖️ Members of the Jury to be announced.
✖️We are calling for short films, feature films, documentaries and video art/experimental.
✖️ We request that English-language subtitles accompany all movies.
✖️We will accept any work realised after January 2024.
Participants must be aged 18 and above.
✖️All submissions are subject to the agreement(s) between the filmmaker/producer and the performers. Uncensored Festival holds no responsibility or rights to the content and will not be liable to any issues that may occur due to, or in part, to the submissions.
✖️We welcome submissions that are sexy, playful, provocative, extravagant and subversive.
✖️We encourage all genres and flavours of desires celebrating different body types and the full spectrum of erotic fantasies.
✖️We don’t tolerate sexist, homophobic, transphobic, body-shaming, racist narratives, and snuff films.
